Adoption Visa (Subclass 102)
Adoption visa allows children adopted from outside Australia to live in the country with their adoptive parents. The child can migrate to Australia as a permanent resident. Adoptive children will have access to study and healthcare facilities in Australia. The child should not be above the age of 18 years when adopted. Also they should fulfill the age criteria when they apply and when the department takes a decision on their visa application.
The child must enter the country date specified in their visa grant letter. The first entry is usually set at 12 months from the date of the grant. The child along with the family members must obey the Australian laws. The department will digitally link the wizard to your child’s passport.
